Reviews and Ratings
The hotel offers stunning views over the vineyards and the Douro river, with clean and comfortable rooms, but the twin bed setup was a downside. The staff provided exceptional service, although some awkward moments were experienced during breakfast preparation. The location surrounded by vineyards was beautiful and made us wish for more time to linger. The dining experience was good overall, albeit some meals were slightly bland. The hotel's facilities were satisfactory, adding to the pleasant stay.
I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The rooms were nice, overlooking the valley, and full of special delights, but they seem to be selling out fast. The service was a letdown, with rude behavior during lunch that led us to leave without taking a tour. The location, while stunning with incredible panoramic views, felt a bit isolated and challenging to navigate in some areas. The dining was good overall, though some meals were not as impressive in taste as they looked. However, the hotel offers a homely dining experience in a beautifully appointed small room.
I couldn't have asked for a better location with stunning panoramic views of the Douro valley. The rooms were clean, comfortable, but slightly small with twin beds. The service was exceptional, with consistently friendly staff. Dining had a nice selection of high-quality local produce, but a few service issues. Overall, a memorable stay with great value for money.
The hotel offers a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms are rather small and unfortunately equipped with two twin beds instead of a queen or king. However, they do have an outdoor front patio with amazing magical scenery. The accommodation might be a bit steep for what you get, but the location makes up for it, all within mid-range pricing.
